Responsibilities

The managerial staff at BARC is headed up by the CEO Bruce King, who has been with BARC since 2003.  His duties include the oversight of the overall operations of BARC.  He works closely with the Board of Directors in setting the strategy and direction of the Coop.  He then takes the Policies and Initiatives established by the board and makes sure they are carried out in a safe manner and within budget.  The positions that report directly to Bruce are the Manager of Member Services, the Manager of Finance and the Manager of Operations.

The Manager of Member Services is Jamie Lowry and he has been with BARC since 1996.  Jamie's duties include oversight of the Billing Department, the IT Department and the Warehouse and Garage areas.  As the title implies he has a lot of interaction with the Office Supervisor and the Member Service Representatives.  Jamie always enjoys talking with the members whether it
is about their bill, the potential internet service or ways they can try to control their electric consumption to help control their cost of electricity.  He also works with Mike Smith on the safety display and is looking for opportunities to come out into the community to present energy saving methods.

The Manager of Finance is Vicky Fitzgerald and she has been with BARC since 2004.  Vicky has held several different positions with BARC and had twice that many titles for her duties.  She is responsible for Financing, Accounting, Accounts Receivable and payroll.  She also has the staff secretary and all the responsibilities that go along with that and the Human Resources
responsibilities.

The Manager of Operations is Dale Meyer and he has been with BARC since 2006.  Dales duties involve oversight of the Construction Department, Technical Services Department, Service Department and Staking Department.  He is responsible for seeing that the work plan gets completed within budget and procuring contracts for Right of Way work as well as some
construction projects.
