Outage Updates

BARC experienced an outage on the night of 8-25 stretching into the morning hours of 8-26.  Some newly hung equipment on a system upgrade in the Plank road and Opossum hollow area of Rockbridge county failed causing three wires to fall.  This outage lasted most of the night but the oncall crews stayed with it until they got the repairs completed and the lights back on.  The system upgrade is intended to provide more reliable service and hopefully will hold up a little better going forward. 

BARC is thankful for the patience shown by it's members during the many storms this winter and spring and are counting thier blessings that it has not been worse.
