Wattshifters

BARC has partnered with a company called WattShifters to provide the Goodwatts program.  This is a program where a representative of BARC and WattShifters will come out and install a new thermostat on your heating/cooling system as well as a water heater control switch.  There will also be a Gateway installed that allows the homeowner to log in and control the thermostat and view electric use data on their thermostat and water heater. 

The system does require an always on internet connection (typically anything besides dialup will work).  With the system installed the homeowner can log in from anywhere in the world that they have an internet connection and control their heating and cooling system.
